Ingen Celebrates 10 Year Milestone

Ingen 10th Birthday Celebrations editted 300x176 Ingen Celebrates 10 Year MilestoneIngen Ideas recently celebrated the company’s tenth anniversary. Established in 2000, the company has grown from a small serviced office in Regent Quay to having a fully equipped engineering office in the city centre of Aberdeen with over forty staff, and a permanent office in Dubai servicing the clients in the Middle East. Over the past ten years the company has continued to make significant investments in software, both in the leasing of industry specific simulation packages such as Olga and Hysys, and in the development of its own integrated asset modelling software, RAVE. The company has also continued to develop its capabilities in simulation and field development optimisation both in the UK and overseas. During the past ten years the company has constantly developed the technical capabilities of the staff and has actively worked in exciting and innovating areas in the industry, such as the satellite accelerator scheme, promote licensing scheme, and more recently working in the area of Carbon Capture and Storage where it has participated in projects both in the UK and internationally.

Norwegian Lessons

Ingen has recently started offering free Norwegian language lessons to all of its staff.

The lessons are delivered  within the Ingen building and are freely available to all staff and are intended to.

Ingen director Robbie Leisk is particularily proud of this step taken by the company - "Ingen carry out work for a number of clients in the Norwegian sector and are committed to working in Norway in the long term.  With our plans to open a permament office in Norway it seemed logical to encourage the staff to develop our abilities in this area. Although the use of English is widespread in Norway and we do not see langauge as a barrier we believe that this further demonstrates our committment to this area".

Dubai Office

Ingen Ideas are pleased to announce they have taken the first steps to opening a new office in Dubai.

The move to open a branch has been driven by the strong demand from our clients in the Middle East and Dubai in particular for us to establish a local presence and the great opportunities we see in this area for growth and our particular offering.

It is our intention to have our Dubai branch fully operational by the end of the first quarter 2008 and have already secured work on projects in advance of this opening.
